Renee's Fat Loss Journey From Being Timid to Stunning


Renee was always shy, lonely, and had low self esteem. She was always the first to run away when her friends would take photos together.

She was 45 pounds overweight and had tried every single thing she could to lose weight but all of it ended in failure.

Her sister asked her to be her bridesmaid and she said no. But then she felt bad and decided to go on a transformation journey to develop the confidence she needed to be her sister's bridesmaid.

So Renee, much weight did you lose?

“I lost 50 Pounds all up, thanks for that by the way haha.”

And what made you decide to go on this transformation journey?

“Honestly, my initial reason was my sister's wedding. Over the past few years, I gained over 45 lbs from my original weight. I weighed 122 pounds in my teens but over the last 5 years I was gaining so much weight that I couldn't recognize myself anymore.

I didn't let myself go or anything, I just couldn't stop gaining weight no matter how hard I dieted.

When my sister asked me to become her bridesmaid I was so happy for her and just before I was about to say yes… I realized how embarrassing it would be if my family saw how much weight I had gained!

Which is exactly why I said no in the end.

I also just wasn't in the right frame of mind. I just got out of a toxic relationship where my boyfriend of 5 years cheated on me, of course this all happened after gaining weight. We were about to get engaged so this really hurt me.

So I gave up and let myself go even further. I was single, lonely, and now obease. And to top it all off I was now letting my sister down.

But to make a long story short, my sis convinced me to say yes and my journey to losing weight before her wedding started.

Only problem was that I had 3 months before her wedding. So I needed to find something that could help me lose weight ASAP.”

Before working with us, what did you do to lose weight?

“I've actually got a list handy! Here's everything I've tried:

Renee's Fat Loss Diet

BREAKFAST

Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal mixed with Quest Protein and almond milk.

Absolutely delicious!

I also had a cup of coffee with stevia (natural sweetener)


SNACK

Fruit Smoothie, and some nuts OR protein bar


LUNCH

Chicken or Fish Fillet Sandwiches. I used low-fat cheese with some lower calorie sauces which I rotated daily to keep things fresh!

DINNER

This changed a lot as I tried to make this the most enjoyable meal of the day.

I alternated from meals of Coach Shanes cookbook which included: Meatball Subs

Steak and Baked Potato

Pasta

Chicken Wraps

DESSERT

I loved ending my night by having healthy ice cream (usually half a tub of Halo Top Ice Cream)


Favorite cheat meal?

“That's a hard choice since I just eat whatever I want hahaha. But if I had to pick, I would say red velvet cake!”

Renee's Motivation

“I really wanted to fit into the bridesmaid dress that my sister originally got for me, she didn't realize how much weight I had gained.

But I told her not to return it and that I would make sure I could fit in that dress before the big day.

“I Promise you I can do this!”, that's what i said to her. I know this was a bit of a risk on my end but it's what motivated me until the end.

That promise was all I needed to stay on track. I didn't want to let my sister or myself down.
